A Coin is about a months wages for a labourer, you can carry 8 coin on your person before it becomes unwieldy. Further coin must be stored somewhere secure, exchanged for goods or invested into wealth.
Wealth is a measure of a characters investments into gear, skills or other avenues of income. You gain 1 wealth by investing 4 coin. In an emergency you can convert 1 wealth back into 1 coin.
1 Wealth affords basic lodging and food
2-3 Wealth affords rooms and meat
3-4 Wealth afford servants and finery
